    The thread and stitching look ok to me. showing some age to it i think its lagit.

    There definately seems to be geniune age to this armband. As jay said, the stamp is probably post war, as these stamps were fairly easy to get and when people did get them they really enjoyed stamping them on everything. This made their souvenirs look better, i guess.

    Ive seen this stamp on a lot of these they were an authentication mark to get into a work erea alot of civil use aswell used as a fake stamp on many fake everything later i agree as above but all looks good to me.

    Cheers Ade, I bought it in the end. Cost £39.99 which I didn't think was too bad as I've seen them for sale up to $125. Thanks for taking the time to look Jay.

    Hi Jay,
    I was watching this one! My only unqualified quibble was the stamp but the rest looks good based on what I've read. It will make a nice addition.
