Hello, here is a 2 piece cockade just in from Berlin. I just wanted to share with you. Love the look of these. I will be leaving to Russia in a month to search for treasure.

My understanding was that when the sickle and hammer are seperate, we are in presence of a pre-1945 cap badge. It might wven be a pre-war cap badge.

Re: WW2 2 piece cockade from Berlin The two piece model (pattern) of 1936 was manufactured and issued until 1939/40 but is seen in use throughout the war and into the postwar years.
