The inspiring example for this russian knive´s was the finnish "Puukko".
Here I want to show you a seldom seen finnish Bayonet.
The scabbard is a little bit comparable with the design of one of your knive´s scabbard´s, isn´t it ?
I think yours is Finnish standard M 29 bayo

Yes it´s a M 1939. At the front these proved useless so many soldiers carried their own long bladed puukko knives in battle in the winter war. In the 1941-44 war soldiers started making "artistic" battlefield knives. The inspiration was the "Helapuukko" knife but soon the designs started living a life of their own. Im not sure to what extent Russian troops copied these knives... or if they did.
