Stay away from it. SA combat shells are as rare as hen's teeth, and this is clearly not one. The shell is post war (no rivets for the liner in the front of the vents, which are also obviously of post war size, and as you noted,l the liner is not WWII vintage as it is attached at the top of the interior of the shell) and both decals are repro's. The dead give away for the SA decal is the fact that the points of the compass touch the red ring on the circumference of the decal, plus the size and color are wrong. The party shield is a poor fake that has been around forever. RUN - DON'T WALK - away from this one. Sorry, but that is how I see it. Jim Geanuracos
