I like it........................!
The chinstrap is good, and nicely worn too.
There may be issues with the decals, but several guys here will give you
their expertise and criticism on them.
Is it a Q62 or Q64 ?
Hi. I have recently joined the forum and also I am new to this hobby. I would really appreciate an opinion on a double decal M35 helmet. The liner and two of the rivets are dated 1939. It is a Quist helmet. I have had three opinions on the helmet. One said it was rubbish, one wasn't prepared to say as there was not much of the ss decal left, and one thought that it was ok. I have made quite a few mistakes in the past, but very pleased that I have found this forum. I would be very grateful for your opinion on this.

looks alright to me, but i hope you get many more good opinions on this one. its one of the most appealing helmets ive ever seen.
Hi . The helmet is a Q64 size. The number on the rear of the helmet shell is 4625. Thanks

Steve
Looks you have a nice example there! I didn't find anything wrong

Thanks for your opinions so far. I am concerned about the decals. Is any one able to tell me if the decals are Quist, especially the left shield decal. If that is ok, then it may be a good guess that the right ss decal is ok even though most of it is too far gone to tell.
Thanks
Steve
By the rest of the SS runic shield it looks like a Q
