Husband and wife group: ATS service dress uniform and 1st pattern service dress cap

Hi Guys, I mentioned in this thread here, about an RAF Air Gunners uniform group, that we also had his wife's ATS uniform from WW2:

This is her uniform which resides in Lez's collection. The cap is the first pattern ATS service dress cap. Note the multi stitched reinforced peak and cloth chinstrap. It shows several inked names inside the lining. This is not unknown, as used, but still serviceable items were re-issued where ever possible.

Her name of "Kime, L" was written in the crown of the cap lining but is hard to see in the photo due to wear.

Here is her 1941 pattern ATS service dress jacket.

The printed issue formation sign is for Northen Command. Rank is that of Lance Corporal. Other insignia is a drivers badge worn on the cuff, together with a good conduct stripe. Brass ATS shoulder titles are worn on the shoulder straps.

A Royal Army Service Corps collar dog is worn on the breast to show her units attachment to this Corps. This was only allowed to be worn by order of the unit's CO.

An ATS lanyard in corps colours is worn over the shoulder.

The tunic label bears her name and service number written in ink.

We also have her 1941 pattern skirt which came with the group, but this is un-named.
