Post-war (WW2) Luminous Paratrooper Luminous Marker

hello all! i hope this is the right place to post this!

i have been waiting many months to get one of these and i finally got one! it's a radium luminous clip-on marker used by paratroopers- however this one was manufactured after the war, 6 years precisely. this one has a date marking on the bottom under the clip, which i haven't seen on any other clip-on types. because it's manufactured after WW2, they used a lot less radium in the paint so this one isn't as hot as others you would see for sale.

i was wondering if anyone could maybe provide some info on why this was made 6 years later? and why does this one have a date marking on the bottom but i can't find any others with it?
