All I can add is that H. Wiegand & Sohn made uniforms in the 60's
I'd rather be A "RaD Man than a Mad Man "
Hello,
The label sewn in this garment says that it is a GSG9 tunic, so not authentic WWII, but still authentic
If i'm not mistaking the GSG9 was created in the 70s...
Thanks
The sacrifice of life is a huge sacrifice, there is only one that is more terrible, the sacrifice of honor

GSG9 is postwar.
Judging by the fur, the cat seems to like it.
Yup,they seemed to! Lol.

Thanks guys.It all makes sense as some other items I've seen from same Veteran are 70's repros unfortunately.
it looks like that the owner also had a cat that liked to rub up against it.? I don't think that the tunic is sheading?
The owner/Veteran unfortunately let his house and belongings go to the um...cats. Sad really. :/
I brushed that and his other items clean of all of it. Much better now.
great piece, any way.
