I find this M34 intriguing. I had one years back where the soutache came right to the bottom and tucked under.
ALL comments said it was a copy as regulation ones "always stopped at the lower stitch line".
This one seems to prove otherwise???

I am not a specialist for these nor for insignia - but this looks like an artificially aged repro/fake cap. IMHO they must have payed the moths to eat this!
