November Bday hauls, good things things still out there...

Went a little mad this month, a lot of looking and learning, and you have to strike when the iron's hot, get when the getting is good

Some lucky find, a 1936 dated Luft Zeltbahn, a '44 dated gas mask can with straps (under the M40 Stalhelm), an awesome '42 dated Tornister with all straps intact and RBNr marked Zeltbahn still on it, a good running Helvetia issue watch, an ABA courtesy of Keving Grootaers in Duffel Belgium, a really nice M40 with that nice dark green paint that is so 1941 early Russian front, a Kurt Triebel Artillerie NCO cap and a Kornacker Infanterie NCO cap, a stinking super mint 1939 dated gas mask can with gas mask and carrying straps that look like they were issued a couple years ago (must have been a Poland or France capture), a stack of Signal magazines, the two books covering all of Signal printed in the 70's, plus lots of other misc not pictured.

Went to the big city today to see a play and have a Bday dinner, hit the motherlode at a bookstore, an armload of 60's/70's collectible books on the war, I'll add pics tomorrow.

One hell of a month!

I might not need anything else for quite a while, right?

Things settled down here... here are the books, this is one haul from a decent old fashioned independently owned bookstore. My heart skipped a beat when I saw the cool old picture books from the 60's and 70's. Those kinds of books sure bring back memories...
