Inns of Court & City Yeomanry tent cap, with a lovely bullion badge on it.
On paper two units were amalgamated in 1961 to form this unit, but the makers mark suggests a lightly earlier date of before 1957.

Whatever its just an opinion.
Nice cap and good maker
I was recently considering a similar cap to the 8th Kings Royal Irish Hussars (different colour and braid pattern) but it had never had a badge fitted and I can't work out whether it was worn with a badge. Does anyone know?
I believe the correct name for the Tent Cap is Bonnet de Police.

Mark, do you have picture of it and a link?

And the QRIH wore the cap without a badge. It has been suggested the owner of this cap was on attachment to the QRIH from the IOFC regiment

Very Neat Looking Cap, looking at their details and form, they are really quite unique.
