Hi, 100% fake.
Fake SS skull. Fake bird. Fake pink soutache.
Maybe a comparison will be more useful instead of empty words:
The pink panzer soutache should not run all the way down to the cap.
The SS Totenkopf is sewn quite messy at the bottom.
If you spend many hours looking and studying the different original variants you can spot a bad fake from miles away.
The eagle and the skulls are reproductions.
This seems to be very obvious when compared with a real one. thank you
The SS Panzer cap, specifically the black panzer overseas cap, was issued to panzer crews after January 1941 as a replacement for the black panzer beret. It was compact, lightweight, and easy to store, essentially similar to the overseas cap worn by the rest of the Waffen-SS except for its color1. In 1944, a single piece of cap insignia was developed, incorporating both the skull and eagle on a trapezoidal base for wear on the M43 field cap
