Soviet trench art mess tin
I picked this up from a seller in Ukraine last year, but never got around to posting it here on the forum. The seller I got it from told me he dug it up in the Kyiv region. The trench art really grabbed my attention when I first saw this. According to the seller, and a friend of mine in Eastern Europe, the front roughly reads 'I like to eat and have fun, my love'. There are also a lot of other markings on this tin. I’m guessing these are names? In one photo I circled the markings in question, as they can be a bit hard to see. Just thought I’d share this neat piece!
