Italian shoulder board/epaulette

Hello everyone.

I have had this single shoulder board/epaulette for many years and had forgotten about it until today. After research I think it may be an Italian Fascist should board, possibly for an Officer.

this is the epaulette of the white uniform, summer or colonial, for officials of the PNF (National Fascist Party).
