JimG should be able to make the call. He's our Commercial helmet resident expert. But Frank is extremely well versed in these as well and he liked it

My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

Yes. agreed on a nice war time example- Thale Stahl stamping is no doubt period produce.
not sure where you gather that information about vent holes..(period vs post)
FB is generally a poor place to get good advice. Stick with the Forums.

Andrea, that green M34 and the one piece SA are killers! I almost bought the SA when it became available. I think it was on the Collector's Guild site right? lots of great lids on this thread! Cheers, Jim G.
Hi Jim.
indeed... that's a cracking helmet!
Correct; it was on sell many years ago on Collector's Guild.
Cheers

Not the only ones with Pepper Pot Holes !!
My M34 has similar ventilation holes, and it is Pre-May 1945 German made.
Your helmet is in wonderful condition. My chinstrap is broken and one of the neck guard tabs on mine is also broken, but it is still a very complete example and I am happy to have it in my collection.
