Picture quality is important!
Gentlemen,
It's literally impossible to give an opinion with blurry photos and its beyond the realm of common sense to even ask for such. It's also the number one trick in the book for cons, blurry pics with the excuse "it's the best I can do" or "the only pics I have".
They can beam crystal clear images of tiny rocks from Mars today, don't tell me a modern camera with autofocus and macro settings takes blurry pics. And if you get a blurry picture because you have the shakes you can take 10,000 more till you get a good one, all for $0.00.
As well to give an evaluation or opinion the following photos are required:
All aspects of the exterior of the helmet, top, front, both sides.
Head on photos of the decals.
The liner and chinstrap.
Closeups of any distinguishing features such as personalizations, camo, chinstrap markings.
Lot number, maker and size.
In total it is about 8-10 photos that take about 2 minutes. It's not too much to ask.
Going forward threads with 3 blurry pics asking for an opinion will be closed. This is to protect members from buying fakes but also from the con artists that like to pop up here from time to time to take advantage of members.
Bear in mind the best fake decals today require magnification in hand to identify. The standards must be raised by collectors who must hold dealers and sellers to higher standards.
Thanks
Doug
