Following the 1976 torrid Summer known as "Europe's great drought" it was decided to introduce a much lighter Summer special uniform.
Testing began in 1976, it had the 1965 Drillich uniform cut, the fabric was a blend of very light Dederon*. It was introduced the following year (1977).
The Sommerdienstuniform (Summer service uniform) was issued mainly to support troops.

K: Klein (small) User height of 164-169 cm, 5'4''-5'6''.
Chest & waist size: 48 (medium).
Special touch suffix: 0 for athletic body (slender waist)
2 for exemple is at the far end (very generous belly).
Sleeve's cuff could be opened & the sleeve rolled up if necessary.
Infantry (white coloured) Kragenspiegel (collar tab).
Note the NCOs collar lace & also the small button to close the collar.
Unterroffizier Schulterklappen (similar to sergeant shoulder board).
This delivery tag was found in one of the tunic's pocket.
