Luftwaffe Cap eagle - period or post war?

Hey fellow collectors,

I stumbled upon a Luftwaffe Cap eagle which I believe to be the (hermann goering division type)
Luftwaffe related insignia is not generally my area of collecting, so I just thought I'd see if anyone can verify if this cap eagle is period or post war?

I am not comfortable with the eagle comparing it to mine and others I have seen. The body of the bird should have the V pattern , but could be wrong as I only know that type.
Dealers love calling it HG eagle though so they can ask more for it , they were also used by mechanics

Thanks for the flattering words but I could be wrong as I am only familiar with one type of black cap eagle, wait and see what others also say

Eagle looks OK to me.... they were also used on the black work cap, so not too uncommon.
