    Hello friends.

Tunic made by Christian Schwarz & Sohn, München. I want to discuss this tunic. Your opinions and I have questions.
I have questions about the eagle and shoulder straps - Are they okay? The shoulder straps are sewn one higher, the other lower, and it seems to me that they were resewned and the eagle too. Or I'm wrong?

    With Regards
    Viktor

Insignia looks good to me.... can't comment on how long they have been on the tunic though, that
would need a hands on I think....

It all looks good to me, too, though as Bob says, you really need a ’hands on’, but it certainly appears quite convincing from these images.

I’m not entirely sure what you mean by ‘one higher, one lower’, when describing the shoulder boards; Their positioning seems fairly consistent to me.
If I have one slight doubt, I would say the EK ribbon with spange seems a little ‘newer’ than the other insignia, though this may simply be due to lighting.

    Thanks for your opinions.

Yes, you are right about the insignia. I studied shoulder straps on the Internet and I have a book. I read everything. I do not have experience. There are no complaints about the shoulder strap buttons; they were sewn on by the specialist at the time the tunic was created. But the place of the seam is the left shoulder very low. And there is a feeling that it is not sewn in an original position. Eagle, it’s hard for me to judge from the photograph, but a light spot is visible above the right wing. These 2 things concern me.

Maybe the General was captured and the eagle was removed (denazified), that doesn’t scare me. But shoulder straps, for a serious manufacturing company, are strange
