SS side cap authentication Real or Fake?

I came across a while back the SS side cap recently and wanted to to see if it is an original or not, truly it is not my side of collection so don't got books or information about it.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello, the skull looks fake as does the eagle but harder to tell by the dirt covering it. The piping looks bad and the stamps a bad sign on these caps. It also appears to be artificially aged. In my opinion it's a ground up fake but wait for other opinions just in case. Good luck.

I believe Al is correct. The tk imo is dirtied up to hide details. I believe the stamps as well as material and conditions of this cap are also signes of a reproduction. I. Not found of this one.

One giant red flag.

Fake smudged insignia which does not reflect similar wear on the cap. Fake stamps. Odd piping.
