It could be a tin from any era with a medallion glued to the top of it.by Alexxx
Could be from mints, gum, anything really.

Not so sure about it being ww2 , they is a lot of this sort of thing for sale in Poland on the market places
Certainly a curiosity. Not come across anything like it before. A lot of decoration for a humble tin.
