Unidentified Cap Badge

Hi folks,
I’m new to the forum & I need help identifying a brass cap badge.
I’m guessing it was a puggaree badge as it has the remains of a pin-back & it’s clearly sand-cast.
I can’t seem to find any images that match it online though.





Any thoughts or help very much appreciated,

Not one I recognise, maybe India related
