Field Cap ID
Hi All
I have this cap which I believe is Italian with I assume to be an infantry insignia, the lining has some indistinct printing and the only word I can make out with certainty is ROMA, there is no date evident so my questions are.......could anyone identify the type or name of this head dress and an approximate date or any other information please, I will upload better photos of the interior and some photos from other angles but for now I would appreciate a starting point for my research as I have no knowledge of Italian militaria, Thanks in advance as always.
