    Greetings.

Here are the medal bars I own from this period.
I'm not sure if they can strictly be called imperial, as the "Hindenburg cross" is included here. Whilst it was awarded for actions in WWI, it wasn't issued until the interwar period.
I love the look of these old, flat, trapezoid ribbon bars.

First up is a set of four medals, being an Iron cross second class 1914, War merit cross (Lippe) 1914 second class, 1914-18 Honour cross with swords, and finally an 1897 Kaiser Wilhelm centenary.

The EK2 has a maker mark KO, the Honour cross with swords 0.4.

Secondly an Iron cross 2nd class 1914 and a Wurttemberg Military merit medal.

The cross is unmarked, the medal is solid silver alloy rather than plated as some were.

Finally a lone Honour cross with swords. I guess this guy didn't get an EK!

This cross is maker marked with with a fancy cursive script that says Ersst. The double s being a scharfes s.

A meagre bar collection comparative to many I see on here, but I think they are interesting pieces all the same.
    Have a great day!

I think it's a fine collection and I see it continuing to grow.
You already have over twice as many bars as I do.

Nice ones, I'm also a big fan of the old-fashioned Trapetz style bars. I also like 2 place bars with a states' EK equivalent, such as your Wuerttemberg bar. These can become a massive rabbit-hole if you decide to try and get more from other states.

The EK equivalents are great, I have a few singles.
The styles and variety are astounding.
Collecting them all on a Trapetz bar with an EK.... I hadn't considered. You may have planted a seed there. What a great set that would be.

Yup, others have pretty complete collections. I tried for awhile, then threw in the towel.
