My father in Polish uniform, not sure if Army or People's Army. Taken around 1936 or so...maybe a bit later
He was from Wylow area.
Can't seem to find any information as to which unit he may have been.

Any ideas if this is People's army uniform or Polish Military, thanks
Could be from underground.
Close up of the cab eagle badge may help.
Thanks, but would the underground members have military uniforms, the buttons on uniform are the polish eagle, and hat badge appear as eagle from that era. with eagle...unfortunately the photo is a scan sent by my mother, cannot find the original photo.
Yes, of course.
All partisan troops used to wear all available types of uniforms.
I remember that he had 2 or so medals, so would partisan groups get them...I remember he said he lied on his date of birth to get into the army..would the Polish Home army require date of birth etc....
he also got one from US army i think for the Polish Military Guard from US base in Nurenburg
Is there a link to the Polish Home army....I have checked the British Army registry..he is not there...
Would a name help for those to search to locate any information...I'm still 0 for 0
