I would examine it under light from several angles to make out the letters. In one photo I see Kl nse. Neil

I have a couple of these in my collection. Links below. Any chance you can post photographs of inside the lid and walls of box? Mine have waffen amt stamps which helped me identify use and maker. Also what are measurements? Width, length and depth?
