Is This WW1 German State Flag Original Or A Fake/Reproduction?

So I just came across this WW1 german state flag dated 1916 and I was wondering If Its original. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Hi there,

Not really my area, however if you search under Imperial German flags in the top right search box, you’ll come across a variety of posts that might give you some clues as to what to look for. I searched for “state flag” but couldn’t get a hit. You’ll want to add more hi res closeups of the stitching and any stamps/markings if possible, as they will assist those appraising it.
