info on feldpost numbers
Hi guys, I have a nice battlefield recoverd m35 snow camo heer helmet, it has the owners name: F MULLER & his field post number: 37995 painted in white paint inside the rear apron. I want to know where I can find a list of all the feld post numbers if possible as I have this and a few other pieces I want to investigate further, any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Ron here are the info on the FP on the gas mask:
(Mobilmachung-1.1.1940) 1. Kompanie Infanterie-Regiment 213,
(2.1.1940-27.4.1940) gestrichen, wurde Fp.Nr. 18403 B,
(12.7.1941-26.1.1942) Stab u. 1.-3. Kompanie Kriegsgefangenen-Bau- u. Arbeits-Bataillon 38,
dann Stab Kriegsgefangenen-Bau- u. Arbeits-Bataillon 38,
(25.1.1943-31.7.1943) gestrichen,
(24.3.1944-6.11.1944) 8.7.1944 Kolonne Bau-Pionier-Bataillon 405.
I don´t know how to track person information, but I think there is a German web page with names on persons buried on German graveyards but i cant remember it. Maybe someone can help us out?
All the best
Lars
