Here is the third and last helmet model of the Bavarian police. It was worn between 1973/74 until the helmets were phased out in the early 1990s.

From 1973/74 onwards, new uniforms were introduced. Therefore, the helmet stocks were revised. Repainted and provided with a third helmet emblem.

The revisions were done very poorly. The helmets were painted over in a primitive way. Not even the helmet fittings were removed. The new emblem was simply a sticker, like the one used on the operational helmets of the Bavarian riot police, among others.
